Hallo Bay, Alaska - June 2005

Hallo Bay in Katmai National Park is a wildlife Haven. On a three week trip I saw Bears galore, Wolves, Sea Otters, Beavers, Foxes and Bald Eagles but to name a few.

Once you have flown there from Homer by light aircraft all the viewing is done on foot with experienced guides. It is a very humbling experience to get close to one of Earths largest predators. A large male Brown Bear can weigh in excess of 700kgs!
